Automated manual transmission
An automated manual transmission is a conventional manual gearbox with an electro-hydraulic system added on to automate the gearchange.
Automated manual transmissions are sometimes known as robotized manual transmissions.
Examples of automated manual transmissions include Smart (fortwo), Aston Martin (Vanquish and Vantage Sportshift), Lamborghini (eGear).
